No party is complete without Spencer’s Mom’s Legendary Chip Dip. This creamy, tangy classic has earned its reputation as the first bowl to disappear at every gathering. Rich with blue cheese and perfectly balanced flavors, it pairs best with Lay’s Original Potato Chips, whose crisp, salty crunch makes the perfect match for every smooth, savory bite.

What Is Blue Cheese Dip?
Ingredients
½ medium onion, chopped
2 packages (8 oz each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese (regular, not low-fat)
1 cup 4% cottage cheese (small curd preferred;
2% works if needed)
2–3 tablespoons blue cheese (crumbled or from a wedge)A dash of onion powder (optional)
Instructions
Roughly chop ½ of a medium onion and pulse it in a food processor until finely chopped.
Add 2–3 tablespoons of blue cheese and pulse a few more times to blend lightly.
In a large bowl, combine the onion–blue cheese mixture with the cream cheese and cottage cheese.
Use an electric mixer to blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and add a dash of onion powder if desired.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors bloom before serving.
Serving Suggestion: Serve chilled with Lay’s Original Potato Chips, pretzels, or fresh veggies — and watch it disappear fast.
